Valencia CF launch VCF WORLD awareness campaign against racism and discrimination

Starting this Wednesday, Valencia CF launch VCF WORLD, a new social project the main focus of which will be to raise awareness against racism and prevent, educate and act against any type of abuse and discrimination such as bullying or homophobia.
Last season, Valencia CF and our fanbase were unfairly involved in an unacceptable incident caused by the racist behavior of three fans, who were identified in collaboration with the police and received a lifetime stadium ban, the most severe punishment in the VCF internal regulations.
Although this incident was an isolated case in our more than 100 years of history and does not represent the values of Valencia CF and our fans, the club have taken the initiative to use this unpleasant incident to emphasize a clear stance against any type of discrimination and assume, through this campaign carried out jointly by all departments, an awareness-raising role to help eradicate this scourge from society.
The campaign against discrimination and racism will feature in every match, through content and actions that will be revealed soon, as well as reflected in the physical and digital platforms surrounding Valencia CF (website, app, social networks...), as well as at the Ciudad Deportiva and Mestalla.
VCF WORLD starts today with the publication of the following decalogue of behavior against discrimination that has been prepared by Valencia CF, with the special collaboration of the psychoeducation department at the VCF Academy. It includes values that are applicable both inside Mestalla and outside the stadium:
